Parks Storage Building - Bid Notice

Sealed bids for the Storage Building - Design Build project will be received by the City of Pickerington at 100 Lockville Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 until 1:00 p.m. local time on December 1st, 2017. All bids will be opened and read aloud at that time.

The work for which bids are invited consists of a new pre-engineered 50' x 80' storage building with a ceiling clearance of 16'. The pre-engineered wood structure will be awarded to a design-build entity to provide documentation engineering and installation of this new building.

The City of Pickerington may choose to not award the bid until ninety days after the bid opening. The City of Pickerington intends to issue Notice to Proceed by December 12, 2017. The Project must be completed within 152 calendar days. The Architect's estimate for the Project, excluding add alternates, is $205,000. The combined estimated price for the add-alternates is $35,000.

Criteria Architect Documents may be purchased from GPD Group, 1801 Watermark Drive, Suite 150, Columbus, Ohio 43215 for a nonrefundable charge of Fifty Dollars ($50.00). Please make any check payable to GPD Group.

Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on November 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Pickerington City Hall, 100 Lockville Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147, Conference Room B.

The City of Pickerington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to ender into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid.

Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project.

Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
